My eyebrows have lived through many fads and trends. I think they were most suited for the thick, Brooke Shields, "show 'em if you grow'em" look of the 80s, but that's because they do grow and grow and grow and are naturally thick. That's when I first started using clear mascara to groom my eyebrows. It helped me brush them into shape and accentuate them.
Nowadays, I try to keep the brows a little thinner but they still need some taming. Clear mascara helps to create the line and hold it there, especially if your eyebrows can get wild like mine.
Clear mascara can also be used on lashes. It's great for times when you might have problems with colored mascara running - when you sweat or swim, for instance. It's a good base for brown or black mascara. You can separate the lashes with the clear mascara before applying your tinted coat. It can also keep lashes curled longer when applied before using your lash curler.
The best part is that clear mascara can be purchased for under $5 for the drugstore brands. A small price to pay for well-groomed brows.
